Feature Spotlight: 3 Ways to Use the Team Board

Feature Spotlight: 3 Ways to Use the Team Board

April 28, 2020 Posted by The EdMod Team Feature Spotlight

As many of you have transitioned into remote learning environments, we’ve created a series of blog posts that will highlight the features of EdMod and how the tool can support your efforts during this time.

Today we’ll focus on 3 Ways To Use the Team Board to strengthen day-to-day communication and collaboration between team members.

  1. Meeting Notes

Are you holding a virtual IEP or case management meeting? Record your notes about a student that you and your colleagues can reference later. The team board remains an efficient way to both share and collaborate before, during, and after your meeting times.

  1. Phone Log

Are you having periodic check-ins with parents or students during distance learning? The Team Board, which date stamps any entry, can serve as a phone log. This is a great way to efficiently share important information with your team.

  1. Essential Info Regarding Learning Environment

While students continue to work from a range of at-home environments, the Team Board can be used to indicate a student’s access to the internet, screens, and any other resources. If one team member is able to post that information on the Team Board, fellow educators can see & adjust accordingly.
