Advanced Session on Managing Difficult Behaviors in an Inclusive Classroom – Part II

This 90-minute session is designed for attendees who already possess foundational expertise in classroom management. Participants will delve into various theories of behavior management, examine how behavior is influenced by disabilities, and gain insights into supporting students with IEPs. The session will also cover Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Additionally, attendees will explore common challenging behaviors and review the latest federal guidelines from the U.S. Department of Education regarding the use of FBAs and BIPs for students with and without disabilities.
