Sales Development Representative 

About the Role

We are looking for a sales development representative to fortify sales efforts & secure school level partnerships with building leaders from public, private or charter schools. We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter who is passionate about education, loves to listen to educators, and solve problems that will lead to innovation for special populations of students.

Working in both a team environment and independently, the K-12 Sales Development rep is a full-time sales position, responsible for achieving meetings and revenue goals by developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with school customers.

Candidates with experience selling into the K-12 market is a plus, and extra plus if you have experience in special education.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
      • Highly motivated and results-oriented
      • Self-starting is a must
      • Entrepreneurial spirit
      • Experience and/or understanding of start-up culture and dynamics
      • Strong presentation, communication, organization, writing, interpersonal, multitasking, and time management skills
      • Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
      • Experience with presentation and office software

Roles & Responsibilities:
      • A strong knowledge of the market and industry
      • Works to identify and close sales opportunities through inbound response to leads, outbound contacting, and email campaigns.
      • Achieves/exceeds monthly sales targets and gross profit quota by prospecting new customers and selling through strategic partners in territory
      • Grows and maintains existing customer and partner relationships through proactive telesales activity
      • Manages daily schedule, meetings, agenda
      • Acts as key resource for leading industry volume license offerings
      • Performs other duties as assigned by management
