As many of you have transitioned into remote learning environments, we’ve created a series of blog posts that will highlight the features of EdMod and how the tool can support your efforts during this time.
Today we’ll focus on Finding Success with the Goals and touch on how customers can rely on progress monitoring in a changed learning and teaching environments.
Progress Monitoring in an At-home Setting
Even with a transition to distance learning, the ability to track and monitor progress remains essential to all student goals – not just IEP. Each data task entry in EdMod allows users to record a score on the goal they’re tracking, upload multiple supporting documents as evidence, and also leave a note where they might detail the changed learning environment.
The accompanying graph also remains valuable while teachers are collaborating and sharing student goals from afar. The simple yet effective visual enriches virtual team and parent meetings alike and becomes easily shareable through the ability to print/download a PDF.
Bulk Upload Goals
Most schools are finding success with the Goals Tab for a simple reason: all of the information is there for all stakeholders to access at any time. A bulk upload of student goals allows teachers to seamlessly begin tracking and progress-monitoring, and can help them stay on track as they navigate an altered curriculum and teaching setting.
We offer bulk uploading services throughout the year but find that many of our customers take advantage of this service over the summer in preparation for the new school year. If this sounds of interest right now or if you have any questions about an upload at some point in the future, please reach out!
